Pat dews

Pat Dews, an award winning artist, is an elected, signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society and the National Collage Society. She works experimentally using watermedia on paper and canvas. She is also a full member of the New Jersey Water Color Society, the National Association of Women Artists and The Artist Guild of the Boca Raton Museum of Art in Florida. Some of her successes include the 2002 American Watercolor Society's Ida Wells Stroud Memorial Award, the National Watercolor Society's Liquitex Merchandise Award and the New Jersey Watercolor Society's Nicholas Realle Memorial Award.

Pat paints the very essence of nature with rocks and water a recurring theme. Collage is often integrated into her work.

Pat lives and works in Hobe Sound, Florida during the winter and in Southold, New York in the summer. She conducts workshops nationally and has judged numerous watercolor exhibitions. Pat's new video, Designing Great Starts With Texture and Form is available through Cheap Joe's.
